CJ’s (Syncrospares) August Devon weekend was the third so far, and took a slightly different format, CJ and Paul taking those with pick-ups out on the Friday night – and with very deep sunken lanes barely wider than the trucks (well-stocked with passengers) that early evening jaunt proved almost the high-spot of the weekend’s driving – almost.

The Saturday’s driving was split into two groups, as usual, shiny and less so… Very well attended and at the same lovely Cullompton campsite, the Sat night was as enjoyable as ever, with a very long table being booked at the local hostelry for a proper sit-down meal followed by slightly inebriated wandering back to camp. tea, coffee and bicscuitry was supplied at Syncrospares’ workshop on the nicely laid-back Sunday recovery…
